ABOUT POSE modeling mag
Pose modeling mag is a Houston Texas based magazine created by Bernadette Arrington, that features all ages with an emphasis on teen and child modeling. The magazine was established in 2011 and has been one of the fastest growing modeling magazine since their first publication.
Pose modeling mag is known for its heartfelt articles, it's trendsetting models, and their professional high quality photography. For the past few years POSE mm has set their sights to the runway, and showcasing independent designers of all ages.
Their shows pack the house with style, fun, modeling talent, and amazing creative designs.
THE GOAL FOR OUR SHOWS
Ms. Arrington says her goal is to bring child fashion to the spotlight. To show that Atlanta, New York, and California aren't the only trendsetting states. "We want to reveal the talent we have in Texas. We have models travel from different states to attend our shows, and we are happy to have them in Houston. Those who attend our shows or participation in our shows, help build awareness to Houston's child/teen fashion world."
ABOUT THE RUNWAY
Each runway show they put on has amazing themes geared toward each designer's fashion creativity. Their first show in 2012 was themed VINTAGE COUTURE, and featured designs from the 1930s to 1980s, along side designers like Blu Pony Vintage, Love Baby J, The Arrington Collections, Sweet Lemonade, and many more.
In 2013, Ms. Arrington brought bright and candylicious colors to the runway themed Candy-Land, showcasing 8 independent designers. In 2014 they decided to incorporate fantasy meets fine dining,for the Life is But A Dream Fairytale Event. That event showcased two designers with a collection of 12 designs.
This year it's about having CLASS, displaying CHARACTER, and keeping it CONTEMPORARY. The show will be showcasing designs that are suitable for ages 5-19. Fashionable, age appropriate, classy, and contemporary styles.
VENUE
Each year they pick a venue that represents their theme. From an old vintage theater to an elegant hall. This year they will combine artsy, contemporary, and eclectic.
It will be an amazing show.
